My name is Reba Lean and I’m a senior journalism major and fisheries minor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I’m from the small town of Nome and have lived in Alaska all 21 years of my life. I really like the outdoors, especially in the summer because winters lately (going to school in Fairbanks) have been really, really cold. I enjoy my fisheries technician job during the summer which involves river boating, camping and fish sampling. I also like hiking, running, berry picking and canoeing. I am interested in learning new activities, and maybe I’ll be able to share some of my new experiences through this blog.
